Forster is an easy 3.5-hour drive north on the M1 and Pacific Hwy from Sydney and one hour and 45 minutes on the Pacific Hwy from Newcastle Airport, which services all the major Australian cities. Coaches and trains also run from Sydney, via Newcastle. Take The Lakes Way off the Pacific Hwy.
